Congrés: How To Write Art History (Budapest)

El mes de novembre vinent (dies 21-25) se celebrarà a Budapest un congrés internacional d’història de l’art amb el títol How To Write Art History - National, Regional Or Global? Organitzat per l’Acadèmia Hongaresa de Ciències, el termini per a la presentació d’abstracts per prendre-hi part no acaba fins al 15 de maig (vegeu-ne les condicions aquí).

El congrés es dividirà en quatre seccions temàtiques, formades per conferències de llarga duració, comunicacions breus i una sessió de debat. Els títols d’aquestes seccions són: 1) The historical notion of region: units of political geography then and now; 2) The method of kunstgeographie; 3) Style and dialect: the linguistic aspects of art; i 4) Global tasks of regional institutions, museology and protection of monuments.
